Frequently asked questions about the wedding

What time should I arrive at the wedding?

If you are travelling to the wedding venue by coach please arrive at the coach stop for 3:45PM. We’ll post more detailed information about the coach stop closer to the date.

The coach will leave for the wedding venue promptly at 4PM.

If you’re driving, please aim to get to Le Tre Fonti no later than 5pm.

What should/shouldn't I wear?

Since this is a wedding we’d prefer it if our guests wore their finest clothes. Strictly no trainers, flip flops, jeans or shorts (except for babies and toddlers). This is a garden-style wedding. Cocktail attire will be fine – ladies can opt for a tea-length, knee-length or midi look. Men can wear a suit, and the tie is optional, but please no trainers. No fascinators are required, but you’re obviously welcome to wear one if you like.

As for footwear, both the ceremony and the reception/party will take place in the same location, which has a combination of grass and wood floors so stiletto heels might get stuck in the garden’s grass. As for temperatures, daytime temperatures in late May normally range between 20 and 25 degrees but they do tend to drop at nighttime (especially in the countryside, which is where we’ll be) so we’d suggest you bring a jacket or something to throw over your shoulders.

I have dietary requirements, what should I do?

You can notify us of any specific dietary requirements on the RSVP form. You can also email us at thewalkerinis@gmail.com

Are children welcome?

Absolutely. This is a kid-friendly wedding. There will be a children’s menu. Please let us know in advance if you will be bringing children so we can liaise with the caterers.

Can I bring a date?

Only if you’ve been given a ‘plus-one’. If not, it’s strictly invite only.

What time will the wedding end?

The festivities will conclude with a big party which finishes at 2AM. We will be providing a coach service back to Piombino at this time.

What will the weather be like?

Tuscany in late spring is generally warm and sunny, but in the evenings it can get a bit chilly after the sun goes down. As such we’d recommend bringing a small jacket or sweater.

Is the ceremony location accessible?

The wedding will take place outside which is accessible via gravelly road. All of the ceremony will take place on the ground floor. If you have any specific accessibility questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

It will largely be outdoors, even though the reception will take place under a large gazebo open at the sides. See our note above about weather.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Absolutely! The more the merrier and don’t for get to send some to us!
